DESCRIPTION:Paddle WA is delivering and assessing ‘Avon Competency’ sessions for the Avon Descent Race organisers. The sessions focus on safety and self rescue. \n\n\n\nThere are 5 sessions to choose from. The main sessions are on a Saturday as there is white water racing events on the Sundays. Those races are listed here with links to further information incase you want to join other paddlers in some pre Avon racing 🙂 \n\n\n\nDates: \n\n\n\nSaturday 27 June at 1pm – 28 June – WWR#4 Amiens \n\n\n\nSaturday 11 July at 9am – 12 July – Northam to Toodyay Race \n\n\n\nSaturday 25 July at 9am – 26 July – WWR#5 Walyunga Festival \n\n\n\nSaturday 25 July at 1pm \n\n\n\nThursday 6 August at 9am \n\n\n\nLocation: Lower car park at Walyunga National Park\, Walyunga Road\, off the Great Northern Highway\, Bullsbrook.  \n\n\n\n\n\nTickets can be purchased via this link:
