SUMMARY:Avon Scrutineering Afternoon
DESCRIPTION:Pre-Race scrutineering is compulsory for all entries within 200 kilometers ofthe Perth GPO.  \n\n\n\nPaddler scrutineering for the Avon Descent will be held at Ascot Kayak Club between 3–7pm. \n\n\n\nThe Scrutineer is a ‘judge of fact’ and a protest may not be made against their decision. All craft\, Personal Floatation Devices (PFD’s) and helmets will be checked for compliance with the specifications. \n\n\n\nCompulsory participant safety briefing\n\n\n\nA representative from each entry must attend the compulsory safety briefing at scrutineering. Each participant must sign for their attendance/acknowledgement of the information provided. \n\n\n\nLate Scrutineering\n\n\n\nLate scrutineering is subject to approval of NADA. Interstate/overseas and entrants living outside the Perth GPO are not exempt from the above requirements—late scrutineering will be available\, and must be confirmed with NADA prior to 26 July.

DESCRIPTION:Get ready for your 2024 Avon Descent Challenge\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMeeting at Walyunga\, water levels permitting.  \n\n\n\nThis year the Chase the Avon will be a full day event. Please bring enough food and water for a whole day of Avon Descent training.  \n\n\n\nSession includes Avon Descent Competency \n\n\n\nThe session will not be super structured but will ebb and flow to cater for things as we go\, depending on water levels. Be prepared: It’s likely to be bouncy.
