Paddle Academy headed to Eaton to deliver an ‘Introduction to Paddling’ session for the Coastal Rowing WA She Paddles day on Saturday 3 February.
Watson Reserve Eaton is a beautiful location on the Collie River, and we recommend this lovely paddle if you’re heading down this way.
It was great working with the Coastal Rowing’s team of enthusiastic women, their pre organising, initial briefing and instruction was excellent.
Everyone had fun, learnt lots and made new friends.
Some have connected and are planning paddling outings, others are loving the possibility exploring the lakes and bays off the beaten track and some are looking to become members of the club.
Participants felt safe and liked the pace of the days instruction and are now confident to get out on the water and have some more fun.
Thank you to Kate (Martin) and Leo (Cockman) who returned to Perth a bit tired but very happy with the day’s work.
