Happy International Women’s Day!
Our own magnificent EO, Rosalie joined the celebration of Women in Sport with Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries and the hon. David Templeman MLA.
In recognition of the role women play in WA Sport, the minister gathered together some of our sport’s senior executives, including our own Rosalie Evans.
Posting on Facebook, the minister acknowledged, “Western Australia’s recreation industry is undergoing a female revolution with more women in senior board and executive roles than at any time in its history! Happy International Women’s Day to all the women who make sport and recreation happen here in WA”
We at Paddle WA acknowledge and recognise the outstanding support women give to all levels and roles within paddling in Western Australia. Their dedication and contribution of time, knowledge and skills is gratefully appreciated.
