The Albany Kayak Festival offers an exciting weekend of paddling and racing for all skill levels from the 12–13 September 2026.
Whether you’re an experienced competitor or looking to challenge yourself in a new event, the festival is a great opportunity to get out on the water and be part of the paddling community.
FREE Come & Try – Saturday 12 September
Paddle WA are offering a FREE ‘come and try’ for the broader community to come down and learn the basics of paddling. There’s also an option to have a go in a kayak sprint race following the come and try – opt in if you’re interested, or stick around and see our competitors take to the water with races starting from 2:00pm.
