Paddle WA is delivering and assessing ‘Avon Competency’ sessions for the Avon Descent Race organisers. The sessions focus on safety and self rescue.

There are 5 sessions to choose from. The main sessions are on a Saturday as there is white water racing events on the Sundays. Those races are listed here with links to further information incase you want to join other paddlers in some pre Avon racing 🙂

Saturday 27 June at 1pm – 28 June – WWR#4 Amiens

Saturday 11 July at 9am – 12 July – Northam to Toodyay Race

Saturday 25 July at 9am – 26 July – WWR#5 Walyunga Festival

Saturday 25 July at 1pm

Thursday 6 August at 9am

Location: Lower car park at Walyunga National Park, Walyunga Road, off the Great Northern Highway, Bullsbrook.

$66 Pricing of any ticket to one of the sessions. Note: there are entry fees to pay at gate entry unless you have an annual parks pass.
