Mandurah Duel

The Mandurah Outrigger Canoe Club is welcoming all Outrigger paddlers, family, friends and volunteers to the Mandurah Duel. The DUEL is an Ocean Paddler Event which is a 17km downwind race that starts at the Dawesville Foreshore Reserve through the Dawesville Cut then follows the coast north to Halls Head and finishes at Doddi’s Beach in front of the Mandurah Outrigger Canoe Club
Registration/Race Briefing
10.00am – 12.00 noon: Registration at the Dawesville Estuary , Estuary Road grassed area to the south of the boat ramp ( see map)
12.30pm: (IMPORTANT): Race Briefing: Must be attended by all competitors prior to the race
1:00pm: All Outrigging craft will be scrutinised by a club or zone official for compliance with AOCRA safety equipment and DOT regulations.
Finish Line/Presentations
4.00pm: Presentations at Mandurah Outrigger Canoe Club
Icy poles and water will be available at the conclusion of the race at the Finish Line and presentations will be held at completion of race including BBQ burger and drinks.
