Interested in exploring our Western Australian coast?
The Sea Kayak Club runs ocean paddling events every week as well as the occasional river paddle and regular training.
All events are managed and led by experienced sea leaders.
There are also weekends away and the annual Sea Kayak Festival in Busselton.

Weekend recap
On Saturday we set off from Lancelin towards Ledge Point in seas that were somewhat challenging.
The eighteen paddlers stayed together as a group so that everyone felt safe. All the paddlers have been trained through our regular cost-free program that is aligned with Paddle Australia.
We needed to turn back after a few kilometres as a beach landing would have been difficult. Yet, we changed the paddle to island hopping with some doing surfing.
After a great dinner at the pub, we arranged to paddle the next day towards the north, and some did more surfing as the conditions were fantastic with fast paddling to catch wonderful waves.
