Paddle WA is seeking experienced and passionate independent directors to join our board and help guide the future of Paddlesports in Western Australia.
Whilst anyone is welcome to apply, we are specifically looking for individuals with expertise in financial management, accounting, compliance, or risk assessment to strengthen our governance and support our commitment to sustainable growth and strategic leadership.

As an independent director, you will play a critical role in shaping policy, ensuring financial stability, and safeguarding governance standards, all while supporting the vibrant paddling community.
Who Should Apply?
We encourage applications from individuals who are passionate about sports governance, community engagement, and strategic leadership.
We are particularly seeking applications from professionals with a strong background in:
- Financial Management & Accounting – Advising on financial sustainability and oversight
- Compliance & Risk Assessment – Strengthening governance, regulatory adherence, and risk mitigation
Previous board experience is valuable but not essential.
