Why WA Needs a White Water Centre

We need a White Water Centre in Western Australia to take advantage of our spectacular sunny climate,

Once again, the outstanding performance of our Slalom paddlers proves just how important it is for WA to continue to support this exciting high-adrenaline sport with our own year-round White Water Centre.

The Perth White Water Centre will not just be for paddlers. It will be a multi-use World Class tourism destination offering on and off water activities:

  • High Adrenaline water activities for tourists and locals.
  • Aboriginal Cultural Centre.
  • Outdoor educational sport facility for Schools.
  • Swift water safety and rescue training for emergency services and first responders.
  • Climbing wall.
  • High-ropes course.
  • Areas for walking, running and cycling.
  • Open air amphitheatre.
  • White water training and racing venue for local athletes and international competitions and events.
  • Freestyle kayaking.

Help Us Make This Happen
