2024 Wildwater Race 4 – Walyunga

The Walyunga Race is the 4th of 6 races in the 2024 LiveLighter WildWater Series. Start from the pool above the slalom course in Walyunga National Park and race 400m downstream to the bottom of the Walyunga Chute Rapid.
Race format
Sprint – Individual and Team. All competitors will receive a timed result and ranking. Season points will only be awarded for the Individual Sprint Race, which will count towards the 2024 WildWater WA Championship or the 2024 WildWater WA Sundries Series.
Safety considerations
Whilst we welcome paddlers of all skill levels, competitors need to self-assess personal risk based on their own competency and the section of river and its associated levels. Race organisers and safety officials reserve the right to withdraw any competitor at any stage of the event if necessary to ensure competitor’s personal safety.
